ODI: Still I Rise! with Dr. Glenn Anderson

In this Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) lecture, Dr. Glenn Anderson presents “Still I Rise! The Enduring Legacy of Black Deaf Arkansans Before and After Integration”. The presentation captures the history, memories, and stories of Black Deaf individuals in Arkansas, spanning from the era of segregation to the integration of the Arkansas School for the Deaf in 1965 and beyond. It highlights a vital legacy that was often lost following the landmark Brown v. Board of Education decision.
