Propose an Event or Program

Thank you for your interest in supporting Deaf Culture programs at Maryland libraries. The DCDL is delighted to offer library events that are not only free and open to the public but also focus on celebrating deaf library collections, literacy, education, and culture through engaging and unique experiences.

To contribute to our programming, we provide two distinct forms:

  1. Program Submission Form: If you wish to propose a program and collaborate with Maryland libraries, please fill out the program submission form on this page. Upon submission, a member of our Programming Team from the library systems will review your proposal. They will contact you if your program aligns with our guidelines, Strategic Plan objectives, and budget. We encourage you to provide detailed and complete information to facilitate the review process.

  2. Community Event Calendar Submission: To add your community event to our calendar, please use the button below to submit your event to the DCDL’s community calendar. This platform is an excellent way to publicize events that resonate with our community and library visitors.

Both forms are crucial in helping us curate a diverse range of programs and events that enrich our community’s experience. We look forward to your contributions and thank you for your support in making our library events a success.
