ASLCORE

ASLCORE is a Deaf-centric project which honors and celebrates Deaf culture and American Sign Language. ASLCORE is a resource that offers sign vocabulary choices for difficult terminology in academic disciplines. ASLCORE signs are generated by Deaf users of ASL. The translation work and continual development of the website is sponsored by The National Technical Institute for the Deaf, one of nine colleges at the Rochester Institute of Technology. The ASLCORE project is managed and administered by Sarah Cannon, Miriam Lerner, and Sarah Schneckenburger, staff interpreters with the Department of Access Services at RIT/NTID.
