SUMMARY:Sofia Seitchik: Her Deaf Journey Across Three Countries and Cultures
DESCRIPTION:Sofia Seitchik\, of Global Deaf Women\, will share her personal narratives about her journey beginning with her childhood in Russia and Uzbekistan\, and how she became a multitalented Deaf woman\, business owner\, and author who travelled around the world with her family. \nIn her inspiring and compelling stories\, Sofia will describe her experiences in overcoming many adversities as a Deaf woman from a minority group. She will also introduce her award-winning book: “The Light of Deaf Women: Inspirational Stories from Visionaries\, Artists\, Founders\, and Entrepreneurs.” \nAccessibility: This program will be captioned\, and presented in American Sign Language. Review signs learned in the previous week.
